Artist's Description
The spooky alley off of Congo Square (Washington Square) and next to the Athenaeum. The Walnut Street Jail used to be on the left. And St. Thomas African Episcopal used to be on the right. The church was torn down and the cemetery re-interred to Eden. I don't think the spirits are happy with all that. This alley feels overburdened and spiritually wrought to me.
